Texting Service - Mjog
Here at Abbey Medical Group we have introduced a texting service. This means that patients on the move can send and receive texts from the surgery using their mobile phones.
Patients who tell us their up to date mobile telephone number will automatically receive a text to remind them about an appointment. This happens 24 hours prior to the appointment time.
Any patient that cannot make this appointment can simply text back the word ‘cancel’ and that is exactly what we will do.
Texting means you can communicate with the practice 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and not having to phone up when it might not suit you.
Our text number at Abbey Medical Group is 07800009668 and we aim to respond to all texts within the next working day although usually it will be the same day (not weekends)

Anyone who has provided Abbey Medical Group with their current mobile telephone number can use this service. No previous registration is necessary. Please ensure that if you change your mobile number that you inform us so we can maintain contact using this method.
