This years flu campaign will begin in the next few weeks. The Department of Health strongly recommends that all those aged 65 or over and people in certain high risk groups and carers should be vaccinated each year.
We are running our "drop in" sessions for our flu immunization programme during October this year. All you need to do is arrive on ANY of the dates mentioned below. Please DO NOT telephone the surgery to make a prior appointment. This is our normal immunization programme and WILL NOT include any Swine Flu vaccine. We are awaiting government guidance on this and will publish details separately to explain this at a later date.
To ensure an even distribution of patients throughout the session we divide the morning and afternoon sessions into alphabetical groups. Please check the time that matches the first letter of your surname and attend during that session - It is also worth noting that it is much quieter towards the end of the slots.
This year we have added an evening clinic for those people who cannot attend during the day.
