Abbey Medical Group are a large medical practice based in York, providing healthcare services to eleven and a half thousand patients, mainly in the Tang Hall, Heworth and Huntington areas of the city.

Meet Our Health Care Assistants

Claire Bell

Claire Bell has worked at Abbey medical Group for approximately 10 years. Originally Claire worked as a receptionist however, more recently she has taken on the role of Health care Assistant which she really enjoys.

Claire is married with two sons.

Michelle Pearson

Michelle Pearson has worked at Abbey Medical Group since April 2002 and is the Senior Health Care Assistant.

She works at all three of the surgeries. Michelle is currently doing her nurse training and hopes to qualify in the near future.

Michelle works on a full time basis.

Valerie Atkinson

Valerie has recently joined Abbey Medical Group as a Health Care Assistant. She works at all three of the surgeries and works on a part time basis.

Valerie is currently the junior Health Care Assistant at the practice.
